Abstract
This research article explores the problems about marsupial animals in Australia. The author used 7 websites to research how to solve the problems about marsupial animals in Australia. The author`s analysis show that the problems about wildfire and that the animals get hunted. To solve it it is important to donate and cooperate with people on the earth. People on earth need to think how to help marsupial animals in Australia.
Introduction
In Australia, there are some endangered marsupial animals, such as Koalas and Kangaroos. In fact, the Koalas are likely to be less than 80000 koalas in Australia. The Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) estimation is saying it could be as low as 43000. In September, many wildfires occurred. At least 25 people died and many Marsupial animals died. The aim of this research is to know the problems about marsupial animals in Australia and know how to solve the problems.
Literature Review
In Australia, there are a lot of problems about marsupial animal, such as wildfire. Many animals lose their habitat and are injured. In fact wildfires broke out frequently last September, and some of the animals lost their habitat and were injured or killed. In addition, there are a lot of problems that people caused, such as people hunt the animals. In fact, the wildfires can occur due to global warming, even if humans are not directly involved. (This is explained in detail in next paragraph.) The aim of this research is to know what is the cause of these problems, know how to solve it and know the easiest way that people who are not living in Australia can help animals in Australia.
In Australia wildfire is happening a lot recently and animals are hunted by people. What is the cause? This research article will first explore about the cause of wildfire. According to the article “How Australia did fires start and what is being done? A very simple guide.” In BBC, the cause of the wildfire is the dry and very hot weather in Australia, just like in September last year. In addition, it is said that one of the causes is that the earth became hot due to global warming in recent years. In fact CO2 is warming up our planet and Australia got hotter and hotter. Dry and hot weather can cause a fire. In addition, people are hunting animals just because it will sell at a high price. The same part of these two problems are that the humans are causing this trouble. What is the easiest solution to solve these problems? This is explained in the next paragraph.
The easiest solution we can do is donate. For example, according to the article “BUSHFIRE EMERGENCY-ADOPT a KOALA” in World Wildlife Fund (WWF), if the koala donation amount is $15, you can buy a Band-Aid for a wound of a koala that suffered from a wildfire and buy medication to repair the wound. At $20, the koala is ready to return to its habitat and can replant trees lost in wildfires in koala habitat. For $30 you can help plant a corridor of trees between threatened koala habitats. At $50, it can help the government with efforts to stop cleaning excessive trees that destroy koala habitats to protect wildlife in the long run. Other animals also have organizations that donate in the same way. Also, another easy solution that we can do is to combat global warming. By turning off the lights that are not necessary and making such small efforts to not use air conditioning too much, everyone on the earth will have a big impact on the earth in the future, and Australian animals will be saved.
Conclusion
The content of this research was about problems, current status and solutions for Australian marsupials, especially kangaroos and koalas. As a result, Australian marsupials are in danger of extinction due to wildfires and hunts. The reason for this is that the climate in Australia is hotter and drier than usual, and there are also the effects of global warming. In addition, there was a thing that fur etc. sold high as the cause of the hunt. The simplest measures we can do are to donate and combat global warming. By making donations, you can support animals in wildfires and help protect animals that are likely to be killed to organizations. In addition, by combating global warming, we can create an environment where Australian animals can live comfortably. To solve these problems, many people can think about animals and work together to solve them.
