Abstract
This research article explores the reasons that made the Finland the happiest country in the world for three years in a row. The author used 5 websites to research welfare system in Finland. The author’s analysis shows that the Finland has a lot of good points to live because Finland has great welfare system for people of all ages. For many people who want to live abroad, the Finland is a good choice to live.
Introduction
Finland has very smaller population than japan. In Finland, everything is sold at a higher price, ranging from food, clothing, housing, and public transport. Also, the climate is very cold. However, Finland is the happiest country in the world for 3 years in a row. The aim of this research is to explore the reasons that made Finland the happiest country in the world.
Literature Review
Finland has services which support parents or other guardians for ensuring the well-being and good upbringing of children. According to the article “Services to families” in Finish government, pregnant women families will get the maternity package which contains baby clothes as well as care products and materials. It’s a benefit offered under the Finnish social security system. Pregnant women families can do upbringing of children in a good environment.
In Finland, people of all ages, from younger to old people can work happily. According to the article “Working life” in Finish government, there are services and supporting systems. For young employees, employers to provide sufficient work orientation. Also, young people with mental health problems have special support in their work communities. For old people, the longer their work the better their pension. Also, management has to think about factors associated with aging so that employees can achieve their own and their employers’ plans and objectives. So, they can balance work and life.
Finland is really easy to live for old people. Because there is social protection system for older people that consists of services, income security and social and health care. According to the article “Services and benefits for old people” in Finish government, there is Home service and home nursing care as one of services. Home service and home nursing care is to assist when an older person requires help at home due to diminished functional capacity or illness. In many Finish municipalities these are combined as home care, which is supplemented by support services. Also, there are financial benefits, employee pension, national pension, housing allowance and care allowance for older people as Income security. Order people can live life relaxing and enjoying.
Conclusion
Recent research on life in Finland has provided an understanding why Finland is the happiest country in the world for 3 years in a row. Current findings suggest that life in Finland is a livable for people of all ages, from children to old people. Finland has a livable society for all of gender and age. These are main reasons why Finland became the happiest country in the world for 3 years. Consequently, Finland government made a system that people can live without worrying and that leads Finland to be the happiest country in the world.
