According to the author’s analysis, Germany has many famous festivals that many people enjoy. There are many reasons why these festivals have become so fascinating and famous. For many people, German festivals are very attractive and entertaining and are a good option for sightseeing.

Introduction
Locals enjoy many German festivals. According to the “DW” in website, in addition to the locals, nearly 90 million foreign tourists can visit Germany and enjoy the festival. Many German festivals have a long history and are still going on. In addition, it is expected that the number of tourists will increase in the future, and I think it will be even more exciting. The purpose of this research is to find out about the German festivals and how they became famous.

Literature Review
One of the most famous German festivals is the Christmas market. It is said that the first Christmas market was held in 1434 and has a long history. Not only is the Christmas Market held in one area, but in the big cities alone there are about 2,500 festivals with different locations and styles. The most well-known of all the markets is the Christokindrusmarkt of Nuremberg in Hauptmarkt, according to the Christmas Market article “How to germany”. The church of Our Lady overlooking the market here has a bell clock called the Glockenspiel, on which a wooden figure spins several times a day. Also, each market has its own characteristics, so you can enjoy different things at each place when you go sightseeing.

Another famous German festival is the Oktoberfest. Each year at the end of September and the beginning of October is the time for Munich’s signature event – or “fifth season” of the year – Oktoberfest, the world’s largest folk fest. Oktoberfest has a long tradition of over 200 years and is called the most popular beer festival in the world. Consume large amounts of beer, roast chicken, sausages and countless large pretzels. The festival’s most important beer is brewed only in the city of Munich. The Oktoberfest has Bavarian folk costumes. Women’s costumes include a dress with an apron called Dirndl. When you go sightseeing, you can learn about and experience German special products such as beer, sausages, and folk costumes.
Famous German festivals have a history of hundreds of years. The two festivals mentioned so far have a long history and are still enjoyed by many. Christmas is an important Christian festival, and it is commonly said that pre-Christ bartering triggered the birth of the Christmas market. It is said that the history of the Oktoberfest comes from the fact that the then Crown Prince’s wedding was held in front of the wall of Munich, and citizens invited to the party began eating, drinking, singing and dancing. Thus, the history of the festival is diverse. And I think these festivals became famous because there are many Christian festivals and special products, and the German culture is protected.

Conclusion
A survey of German festivals provided information about the types and history of festivals and how they became famous. According to current research, German festivals have a long history and various characteristics.
One of the main reasons why Germany’s festivals have a long history and have become famous is because they preserved and valued the German culture forever. The second reason why it became famous is that even in the same Germany, the festivals have different characteristics depending on the region and you can experience various cultures. Therefore, many festivals in Germany and many tourists can enjoy it.
In addition, according to the German news of “the local de”, it is said that the number of tourists in Germany has increased every year, surpassing the record for 9 consecutive years, so the festival will continue to flourish, and the festival and the unique German I think the culture will continue to become famous.
