Abstract
This research report explores the reasons that make the USA one the popular country for learning architecture. The author used 4 website to research history of architecture in USA, and education about architecture. The author’s analysis shows that the USA is an attractive choice in the world to study architecture because USA has many famous buildings, long history of architect and there has good university for learning architect.

Introduction
In USA, there has many famous buildings. For example, Empire State Building, the White House, and Washington Monument. According to Chinedu Chimdi Adindu, USA is number 1 country in around the world as a good architecture and built environment. The United Kingdom and USA may be two of the most popular destination for architecture. However, USA is more popular than The United Kingdom with students from overseas. The aim of this research is to explore the reasons that make USA a popular country for learning architecture.
Literature Review
In the whole world, USA, UK, Italy, and China are famous for their architecture. However, USA has been considered the most famous place in the whole world as wrote in introduction. In USA, students can learn the architecture in daily life. Because, there has many famous and good architecture for learning. And, in university, students can listen the class that the professional of the architecture is teaching. Students can choose the courses by themselves. In addition, students can know the deep history in USA’ architecture. For these reasons, students can learn the architecture in USA very effective.
Let’s watch more detail data. First is about the history of architecture in USA. In USA, Modern architecture is the base of architect these days. Modern architecture is one of the modernisms. It came from 1925 to 1960. It rejected all traditional styles based on older prototypes and proposed a new type of functional design which used modern materials and construction techniques, to create a new aesthetic and sense of space. It given the importance of urban development in the economic recovery of the United States and growth of numerous markets within America. Because of that, Commercial building especially skyscraper, became modern architect before 1940. And the first pert of 1950s, USA was moved away from ‘functionalism’ towards ‘formalism’. It means, architectures became increasingly interested in the decorative qualities of different building materials and exposed structural systems. For these two reasons, (modernisms and formalism) USA became popular country around the world. Next is about the education in university.
According to the article, “Top Architecture Schools of 2019” in Architectural Record, Cornell University in USA is the best university in 2011 to 2019. (Excluding 2011) For others, Rice University is very good next to the Cornell University. In these universities, students are learning about the architecture very hard. As stated by Cornell University (n.d.), in Cornell University, Architecture Lectures, each semester the Department of Architecture hosts a rich and varied lecture series that serves to extend the pedagogy of classes and design studios. Invited speakers represent a range of professional, teaching, and research interests that engage issues vital to the study and practice of architecture. The students in that university, can attend the Architecture Lectures. It is good for students because they can listen about the architect by the professional what they want to know.
USA is very popular and good place to learn about the architecture. Because, there has very long history so students can learn by past and now. And, according to the Architectural Record (2020) showed that Cornell University and Rice University are very good school all over the world. USA has good performance in the architecture.
Summary
Recent research on learning architecture in the USA has provided an understanding why many foreign students choose to study in the USA. Current findings suggest that learning architecture in USA is very effective. In USA, students can learn by professional of architecture. This is the number one reason why many foreign students choose USA. In USA, students can take a class that is very high quality. And students can choose the course by themselves. The one more reason that students wants to learn architecture in USA is, there has very long history of the architecture. For these reasons, USA a highly attractive destination to study architectures.
