Abstract
This research report explores the reasons that make the Netherlands one of the English language study destination in Europe. The author used 1 books and 4 websites to research English education in the Netherlands. The author’s analysis shows that the Netherlands is an attractive choice in Europe to study English because in Europe, many country speaks English such as United Kingdom. Netherlands is famous for tourist spot, and there are many good schools that teaches in English. For many English language students, the Netherlands is a good place to learn English.

Introduction
There are more than 17.28 million living in Netherlands. Most of people speaks English and Dutch. In Netherlands, many people speaks English for business, media, and education. The United Kingdom is of the most popular country which teaches in English in Europe because English is an official language. Well, the Netherlands is very popular with students from Spain, Poland and other countries in Europe. The aim of this research is to explore the reasons that make the Netherlands as one of the English-language study destinations in Europe.
Literature Review
Many countries such as UK, USA and Singapore set English as an official language. English is becoming common language in the world. Well, the Netherlands is also one of the country that speaks English beside Dutch. In the Netherlands, English is very important language to have a class in primary school to university even in company. Most of school, thy teach subjects in English. In Netherlands, most of the people have chance to speak English. From 5 years old to 18 years old, it is set as compulsory education. It means that most of Dutch start speaking English from 4 years old. According to the article “English courses in the Netherlands” the language learning app Babbel has recently ranked the Netherlands as the country in the world that speaks the best English as a second language.
According to [How Many People Learn English?] by ThoughCo., there are There are 1.5 billion English-language learners worldwide and more and more countries start learning English. Japan is one of the country and government set up Eiken exam in 1963 and until now, there are more Exams that help us know what level are we.
Through these projects and Exams, many people in Japan start thinking to go to foreign country and learn English. One of the country is Netherlands. According to the article, ‘‘Total number of residents from Japan living in the Netherlands from 2013 to 2018’’ 10000 Japanese are living in Netherlands and 1/8 is living to learn English.
Many students are planning and living in Netherlands because of it’s livability. To go to Netherland, it takes more than 11 hours and 40minuits from Tokyo. Cost of living is same as Japan or little bit higher and security is good. Also University is focusing to teach in English.
And people in Netherlands are very friendly. Most of students goes to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Den Haag but Amsterdam is the most popular city for students. In Amsterdam, University of Amsterdam is most Focusing on English study. The Reason why students learn English in Netherlands is because of ‘Livability’’ and ‘‘Quality of studying’’.
Conclusion
Recently, the students who studies English in Netherlands are increasing. There are 3 reasons. First it is very Livable. The cost of living is same as Japan and also security is very good. According to article ‘‘Netherlands Crime Rate & Statistics 1990-2021’’, Netherlands crime rate & statistics for 2018 was 0.59, a 24.41% decline from 2017. Second the quality of university is very high. When you raise the university of Amsterdam as an example, according to the official site of the University of Amsterdam (https://www.uva.nl/en/about-the-uva/about-the-university/rankings/rankings.html), University of Amsterdam is consistently ranked among the world’s best universities in global rankings. It is a top 100 university in the THE Rankings, QS Rankings and Leiden Ranking. And last, Netherlands is very close to the country which speaks English such as The UK. Because of this Students have many chances to speak English in daily life. Consequently, these reasons make Netherlands one of the country which speaks English and it makes Netherlands very attractive learning English.
